Director’s AGM Thanksgiving Report for Year 2005/2006

Yes, we are three years old! How we have grown from a small beginning. Re-Gen Ministries has traveled to many parts of the world now. Its’ ministries is touching and creating significant impact that will count for eternity

2005 / 2006 has been a busy year for many of the Associate Ministers of Re-Gen Ministries. New opening of ministries doors, new houses, new Church Plant, new addition to the family (well almost for the Sia). While we don’t meet often, we know that each one of us is keeping busy in the Lord’s business till He comes!

Here are some last year milestones: -

  • The endorsement for Charity Tax exemption and concessions as a non-profit charitable organization by ATO. All accounts went through proper external audits

  • The launching of Re-Gen publication of the first book by Steven Teo. A few books are now on the way.

  • The networking of Itinerant Ministers with similar vision and passion by Re-Gen Associate Ministers.

  • The opening of new door for ministries. (Nepal, Philippines, Cambodia, Malaysia, East Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.)

  • The Successful planting of a new Church in Casey by Ps Ken & Geoff. It has an average of 30 Adults meeting every Sunday at 5:00pm in Brentwood park Community Centre, Berwick

  • The launching of ECCi World Missions by Ps Ken Teo and raised $108,062 in Missions Faith Promise for Missions

  • The successful Oil Painting Art Exhibition for Missions by Ps Steven Teo’s in Singapore. Over $20,000+ were raised for Missions

  • Ps Ken Li relocation of ECCi Contemporary Service to Orchard Grove Primary School saw an increase of 100% in attendance in Sept. 05

As I always say, Re-Gen Ministries is not about one person or evolved around one personality. We saw the provision of God over and over again. When we are doing what God wants us to do, His provision is endless J. Hudson Taylor once said, "God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supplies." Jesus himself said in John 5:19-20, “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.”

Let’s make disciples who make disciples! Lately I have been reading about Leadership and Empowerment. John Maxell once said that to add you lead people, to multiply you lead leaders. Ralph Nadar added, “The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers." Bill Gates commented that, "As we look ahead into the next century, leaders will be those who empower others." Harvey Firestone wrote, "The growth and development of people is the highest calling of leadership."

Lastly, we have only one life to live, but our works will never seize if we understood that the final test of a leader is that he leaves behind in others the Conviction and Will to carry on.
