2008 Jan-Jun News Update

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Thank you for your faithful and generous prayer support. Soon the first half of 2008 will be over. Re- Gen Ministries website was down for a number of months due to technical error and my lack of web updating skills. You will realised the new Re Gen Ministries website design. All thanks goes to Pastor Devin Rajiah of Mauritius who have put in countless hours to get the new design going. Been learning a few trick from him lately as well as some Uni students doing our CLIC website.

2008 a year of new beginnings has been an exciting year from the word go. In March our new church plant in the City of Casey, Melbourne was incorporated as a Church. Casey Life International Church or "CLIC" as we like to call, is full of life and looking ahead with great expectation of what God will do in us and through us. Do pray for us as we look for a more permanent place to meet on Sunday morning as well as for mid week ministries.

Ministry Report.

1)
In Jan 08, we got to good news that Overseas Christian Fellowship at Monash Uni Berwick campus was officially registered after 2 years of praying. It was pioneering days for this new Uni students ministries. After nearly 6 months, we believe it will continue to grow. Do pray for the combined Winter Camp with OCF Clayton this June.

2) In Feb 08 we had the Chinese New Year Celebration in the City of Casey. It was an awesome time to reach out to the Asian community. We thank God for the many new ones we are able to connect with. This event has increase our church profile in the community.

3) Casey Life International Church (CLIC) had a family camp in April at Marysville. This is the 1st camp organised under CLIC. It was a significant camp as we look into the Book of Acts with Ps Kelvin Sim of High Impact Ministry. As a new church plant, we want to be like the early church through a small group were able to turn their world upside down for Jesus! God did a good work to deepen us together as a Church to Arise and Build! On 1st June we had the first CLIC Membership Sunday. This is followed by 2 weeks of Faith Building Sunday to move CLIC into the promise land!

4) In May 08 we had the 1st Missions Dinner followed by Missions Faith Promise Sunday at ECCI Blackburn. The Missions Dinner was sold out and the God surprise us again when we reach our targeted budget for this coming year of Missions venture. ECCI Missions now includes countries like, China, Central Asia / Kyrgyzstan, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand Nepal, Indonesia & local church planting.

5) I was able to minister again in Indonesia, Medan on the early May 08. I taught in World Missions Training Center and Rhema Bible Institute. Love equipping these church planters. It was good to be able to teach & preach in Indonesian again after 2 over years of not doing so. Truly the Holy Spirit will bring all things into remembrance!
