Director’s Thanksgiving Report for Year 2004/2005

Do dreams come through? Two years ago I would not have any idea how to transit from where I am to what I always dream about. There was a deep sense that “there must be more” stirring my nest. Is this my final destination? Or is there more? For dreams to come through, there calls for moving out of our comfort zone. Changes are harder as you grow older! Yes! Dreams do comes through when we dare to take a step of faith into the unknown with the God we have known!

Re-Gen Ministries Inc. was birth out of a dream to serve our generation just like King David did. Our end goal is to see the regeneration of our generation. It was a God idea from the start. This 25th August 2005, Re-Gen Ministries will be one year old. It seems slow that we are just a year old, yet when we look at the ministries front and all that has taken place, it seen like Re-Gen has been around for quite a long while!

Here are some of the milestones: -

The birth of the name “Re-Gen Ministries.”
The registration and Incorporation of Re- Gen Ministries in Melbourne Victoria within 3 days.
The opening of the Re-Gen Ministries bank account within that week.
The successful application for an ABN number.
The endorsement for Charity Tax exemption and concessions as a non-profit charitable organization by ATO.
The launching of Re-Gen website (Will be repackaged by the next half of 2005).
The networking of Itinerant Ministers with similar vision and passion.
The opening of door for ministries. (Nepal, Philippines, Cambodia, Malaysia, East Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.)
The publication of the first book!

Re-Gen Ministries is not about one person or evolved around one personality. We can’t finish the job alone like a Rambo! It is about working in partnership and in networking to finish the task of reaching our generation. As Andrew Carnegie once said, "It marks a big step in your development when you come to realize that other people can help you do a better job than you can do alone." As a result, Re-Gen Ministries Inc. is about a fellowship of Itinerant Ministers working side by side for the harvest of this generation.

Someone once said, "All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism." Let us all focus on the field that is ripe for harvest. There will be distractions and criticisms but there is power in focus. Lastly, in the words of Rick Warren, "If you want to last over the long haul of ministry, you have to learn how to recharge yourself spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally. Here's an easy formula to remember: Divert daily, withdraw weekly, abandon annually. Know what relaxes you and what recharges you -- and do it.” Even Jesus rested!
